Ficus are fantastic as Bonsai trees. They are extremely hardy and are very easy to look after.
They can be manipulated to show off their fantastic root structure being planted over rocks and slowly raising the tree during each repot to expose more roots, known as ‘root over rock bonsai’.
These are a great way to get started making your own Bonsai! All you need is contained in the Bonsai Tree kit

Potting mix sample
A small roll of wire for shaping branches
Potting mesh for the drainage holes
Finishing pebbles sample to spread around the base of the tree
