How do we care for your order?
Bonsai Shop takes care packing all orders to help get your products to you as safe and as fast as possible. We ship using Australia Post, with our pricing taken directly from their systems.
All Bonsai pots, Bonsai figurines and fragile are wrapped in suitable bubble wrap before being packed in boxes or mailing bags. Pots are additonally packed with protective reclaimed hard foam and layers of reclaimed cardboard.
Environmental sustainability is very important to us. We try to re-use as much packaging as possible.
We personally guarantee any breakages that occur during transit






How we send Bonsai Trees
All Bonsai are carefully wrapped in plastic film to keep soil in, with bubble wrap around foliage to keep it intact. All Bonsai are placed in mailing boxes with adequate reclaimed foam to limit movement in transit. We have been sending Bonsai from our online warehouse for over a decade, so you can trust our expert packing team!
IMPORTANT: Please be advised that due to quarantine restrictions, trees cannot be sent to Western Australia, Tasmania, or New Zealand. If you are in any of these areas and order a tree you will be refunded. Bonsai Shop apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

Returns and Refunds
1. For your peace of mind, we personally guarantee any breakages that occur during transit. In the rare case that your parcel arrives damaged, we can provide a refund or replacement. You will be asked to put your photography skills to the test and provide photos of your item prior to sending it back to us so we can assess the condition. To be eligible, please contact us within 48 hours upon receiving your order and provide a clear photo of:

- The damaged item.
2. We also offer undamaged/unused returns for 30 days from the date of delivery/receiving of order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. To complete a return, we require a proof of purchase. You are also required to cover the return postage costs.
Please allow us 2-3 days to process your return request. If your item is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive your credit within 5-10 days, however please note your credit may take longer to arrive depending on your card issuers policy.
